A portrait of contemporary Britain as seen through the eyes of a group of young people experiencing homelessness.
Developed as an artists project over 2018-19, An Intermission won the Guardian x Joseph Rowntree Foundation Award at Sheffield Doc/Fest 2019, and subsequently the BFI and DocSociety’s Made Of Truth award, and has been supported by the Orwell Foundation.
The finished work, a 22-minute artists’ film, will have a festival run in 2020-21 and then be released by the Guardian.
