The Most Cruel Of All Goddesses is an artists' feature film by Declan Clarke, who was commissioned to make a work for the launch of HOME Manchester. Filmed in Munich, Wuppertal, Manchester and London, the film tells a history of German political thinker and philanthropist Freidrich Engels through the story of an unnamed twentieth century spy.
